Surprising Side Effects of OTC Meds
Tylenol (acetaminophen) is an over-the-counter medicine that is used to reduce pain and fever and relieve symptoms of allergies, cold, coughs and the flu. In January 2014, the FDA released a statement urging doctors to be careful when prescribing medication containing acetaminophen, which can potentially cause severe liver damage.
