How Your Pet Can Affect Your Health
According to a blog post from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, many people who have MS have benefitted from having a pet — dogs in particular. Many organizations provide service dogs to people with multiple sclerosis. These dogs are custom-trained to assist people with physical disabilities and to help with tasks like pulling a wheelchair, opening the door and picking up small objects.
