Omlonti
Omlonti is an eye drop that lowers pressure in the eye in people with open-angle glaucoma or a history of high eye pressure. May change your eye color to brown or a deeper shade of brown.
Omlonti Overview
Omlonti is a prescription medication used to treat open angle glaucoma and a condition in which the pressure in the eye is higher than normal (ocular hypertension).
Omlonti belongs to a group of drugs called prostaglandin E2 receptor agonists. The exact way Omlonti works is unknown, but it is thought to work by acting on the prostaglandin E2 receptor to help fluid drain from the eye, which may lower pressure in the eye.
Omlonti comes as an eye drop. It is usually given as one drop in the affected eye (or both, if both eyes are affected) once daily in the evening.
Common side effects include eye redness and sensitivity to light. Omlonti can cause blurry vision. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
